Rural Missouri is sent to every member of participating electric cooperatives in Missouri. Each member household is supposed to receive one copy only. Occasionally, though, the mailing list will include a second (or even third) copy addressed to the same residence. Please help us to save cost by calling your local electric cooperative and ask them to discontinue sending the extra copies. Be sure to have your Rural Missouri mailing labels in hand so they'll know what name or names to delete.

Have you moved off the co-op lines but still receive Rural Missouri? Chances are you don't need to do a thing. Most Rural Missouri subscriptions are tied to membership in an electric cooperative. When you close your co-op account your subscription will end. It may take a month or two to update the mailing list but you should stop receiving Rural Missouri a few months after leaving the co-op. If not, please contact your local electric cooperative.

Occasionally we hear from Rural Missouri readers who have taken offense at something we've written or for some other reason decide they no longer wish to receive the publication. It's possible to accomodate such requests but we strongly discourage it. Why? Because Rural Missouri — and especially the local pages produced by your electric co-op — contain information of value to co-op members. We sure would hate for you to miss news of rate changes, capital credits, new programs or other local news.
