Wild Rice & Chicken “Stoup”
1/2 cup uncooked wild rice (6-to 8-ounce box)
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
14-1/2 ounces chicken broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups half-and-half
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup shredded carrots
1 package dry Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
1 chopped onion
Cook rice according to directions. Brown the ground beef and drain.
Put all ingredients in a crockpot and cook on high for 3 hours.
If it’s thicker than you desire, dilute with a little half-and-half
or milk.
